Unable to Access Classic View Dialog box

When inserting a footnote citation, the classic dialog box is check as the preferred format but it does not appear. Instead, the citation is added. I uninstalled and reinstalled Zotero, but the dialog box is not showing up when adding citations. Any assistance is appreciated.

What do you mean by "Instead, the citation is added"?

The Word plugin is not working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Zotero several times, the plugin and the Chrome connector as well. When I add a footnote citation, I do not get the dialog box. Please see attached.

Right -- you'd need to pick a citation style: those are the document preferences, they always open on first citation. Only then you'd get the search bar.

The Turabian 9th edition (full note) is selected. How do I confirm the selection is being saved? I selected the citation format from the Style Manager.

By clicking on the OK button as in any window.

(And styles are selected per document, not in the style manager -- obviously you want to be able to have different documents with different citation styles)

Perhaps the upgraded version works differently. When adding new citations, I never see the dialog box to select the classic view, even after I select OK on the first citation. Similarly, when I add/edit subsequent citations, the dialog box is not visible.

What do you see after clicking OK or when editing citations? Seems very unlikely that it'd keep prompting you to select a citation style?

The behavior here hasn't changed (though note that the red box is not the 'classic' add citation dialog, so if you have classic selected in the preferences but want the red box, uncheck that option).
