HOW TO ADD NEW BIBLIOGRAPHY/REFERENCE LIST FOR A DIFFERENT PAPER?

How can I add a new reference list for a different paper?
  • It's not exactly clear what you mean.
If you insert your citations in a given paper using the Word/LibreOffice/GDocs add-on using the "Add/Edit Citation" button, placing the cursor where you want and clicking on "Add/Edit Bibliography" will render a bibliography based on the citations you used in the text.

If this is not answering your question, please explain in more detail what you are trying to achieve and what your problem is.

  • In MyBib there is an option to add a new project and hence a new bibliography. I am looking for that kind of thing. There is a separate bibliography for each article and therefore, I cannot add new references/bibliography to a list used for a different paper/article/project. I need a new bibliography for a new project/article.
  • How can I move the bibliography to the new collection? i tried but it did not work. When I click the folder to move, it does not show my new folder/collection. When I click the collection, it does not have any option to move something from the library.

Create a Collection in Zotero desktop and add all the references ("items") you want to it.
    https://www.zotero.org/support/adding_items_to_zotero

Then select all the references in that Collection, and right-click Create Bibliography From Items (like Download Reference List in MyBib). Select the style you want, References as Output Mode, and Copy to Clipboard (or Save As RTF). Paste the resulting bibliography wherever you want it.

Normally people cite references and create bibliographies all directly in their word processor, as mentioned earlier. But if you want a basic MyBib-like approach, the above will do it.
  • Unfortunately, I am unable to add anything to the collection folder from the library. I can add new references but I cannot export those in the library.

"Export"? You just drag items to a collection to add them.
