On the first page, under the heading "Zotero," the second line down, there are displayed four icons. I've looked for definitions or actions associated with these icons, but can't find any. The icon on the Google Scholar browser bar at issue is the yellow folder.
The URL from Google Scholar with the yellow folder icon that results in error msg is:
http://scholar.google.com/scholar_case?case=12334123945835207673&q=%22410+US+113%22+OR+%22Roe+v+Wade+410+U+S+113+1973+%22&hl=en&as_sdt=2003
- a book
- a newspaper article
- a webpage
The yellow folder is used when there are multiple records to choose from. I can replicate this issue with that URL - report ID 1694529664From the error message it looks as if the address bar icon is appearing in a context it was not designed to be used in.
An error (a different error) also occurs on the results page for that search, report ID 602292619
@Dan (or other devs/programmers who happen to stop by): I'm not sure this is solvable at Zotero's end - I don't know how to check, but the error ("item has no title") makes me think that Google perhaps isn't providing metadata for this item.
The behavior described above seems to be the case for all legal opinions served by Google Scholar. The translator has not been updated to recognize the structure and metadata of legal results, and it erroneously claims to have detected usable metadata.
