Creating citation in Zotero on iPad

I don’t know what I am doing wrong, but when I try to export a citation on my iPad in Zotero I’ll select my article and try to copy it to my clipboard and it will tell me that I am not selecting the right style type. I don’t know what that means. Can anyone help me figure out how to do this?

    Hi @madisen_fell, can you describe how you try to create the citation? Do you just long press an article in your items list and then choose "Copy Citation"? Then you immediately get the error message?

    If that's the case, can you go to Settings (in Zotero app, not iOS settings) -> Quick Copy and see what the "Default Format" is selected there? Does it show any format? If you're not sure you can just include screenshots here.

    Yes i am long pressing to be able to select the the items in my lists which are currently PDFs and then when i click copy to clipboard for a citation i immediately get that error. I just tried changing the settings and now both default are AMA and i still got the error.

    @madisen_fell sorry for not getting back to you earlier. If you're still experiencing this issue, can you try starting debug logging, then try copying citation, stop debug logging and send me the Debug ID here? Thanks!
