Upgrade StorageZotero doesn't export files of a group of itmes
When I try to export a group of items selecting them or exporting a collection, the files doesn't appear in the resultant folder. If I export the entire library, it works fine. I marked the "export files" option.

1. in the zotero's center panel I select 5 items holding the shift key, then, with the right click menu, I choose "export selected items"
2. in the export box, I select to export in zotero rdf format, and mark the options "export notes" and "export files", then I click OK.
3. Appears a box to save the files (attachments) exported. I select the desktop and clik OK.
4. I go to the desktop and open the new folder called "exported items" and I see a file called "exported items.rdf" and a folder called "files", wich is empty. that's the problem.
5. I import those items back to zotero, and in the "attach" of the items, indeed, there is no files, but links to the files in internet. That's a problem if someone wants to work offline, or if can't acces the database in certain places (i.e. in home)
6. If I import the hole library using "acctions --> export library" the files attached are well.

Are you sure the specific files you're trying to export exist and you're not just seeing other files when you use Export Library? As in, when you double-click on the attachments from within Zotero before you export the parent items, does it open the files?
Also, are the files linked or imported?
What version of Zotero are you using?
I'm sure the files exist, I can see it by double click and see it in my hard drive. The files are imported, for sure. When I import back, I only can see the link to the web.
Anyway, i'm having more troubles with zotero, I guess is for the java installation which doesn't work fine. I can't drag and drop items from my library to a collection or shared folder.
I'm using zotero in lunux ubuntu 9.10-64bits.
Can you provide a Debug ID for the export attempt? Enable debug logging, open a file that exists so that a record of that is logged, right-click, export w/files. Make sure the 'files' directory is empty. Then submit the debug output.
Sorry for be too late in answer, I just reinstalled linux and all my problems was solved, now I can export items with files, and drag and drop items, plus many others not related to zotero.
Maybe it was a particular problem related to something else, it seems there was no more people who report it.
