SAA December 2023 update
Hello,
I was hoping someone could help me with updating the SAA citation style to reflect the December 2023 update. The style guide has drastically changed formatting guidelines, and I have very little skill in changing code. Does anyone have advice or a timeline on updating the code to reflect the new style? I have been manually making the adjustments, but with hundreds of citations, it is becoming very difficult and time consuming to do so when I have the Zotero plugins enabled.
I have attached the new guidelines here:

First draft was delivered and it's being reviewed now.
This could be an issue with my computer/programs, but I installed the new style and it looks perfect in the Zotero code editor preview, but the bibliography in Word still comes in as double-spaced with no hanging indent. The code looks fine, any ideas?
Their guidelines clearly show that they want a hanging indent. Note also that this style was signed off by SAA themselves:

So it may just be my computer being unruly... but in case others were having the same issue, I wanted to bring it to your attention.
Switch style and back to SAA. That should reset the styling.
Under some circumstances, you can overwrite the Word style set for the bibliography and you'll then see something like the above. This applies to all Zotero/CSL styles and isn't SAA specific. In that scenario, switching to a different style and back is, indeed, the only solution (and will likely remain so for the foreseeable future).
