Can't open Zotero

Hi,
I just updated Zotero to the 7 version but the application doesn't open anymore.
The error message I receive is: "Couldn't load XPCOM".
Tomorrow I have to give a workshop, so I would appreciate any help asap.

    Reinstall Zotero from the download page. Your data won’t be affected.

    You can try uninstalling Zotero first and then reinstalling. Beyond that, this would have to be caused by non-standard security software, an outdated Windows version, or some other odd problem in your system. We only ever really hear about this for corrupted installations, and reinstalling pretty much always fixes it, so we don't have any other suggestions.
