Zotero Export , All Note lost images

I try Zotero Export to backup all my data, including pdfs, notes , images inside note ..

but when i Import them, all images in Zotero Notes disapper

I search in forum, and find zotero would not export images in note,

So ,is there any way to find back images in note ?

Or, i had to write all note again one by one for more then 1000 notes

And, why there is not any notice like "All Image would loss in your Note" ?
They just do not mention this , Until you find the problem and lost all your images in note

    You shouldn't use export for backup purposes. See https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#backing_up_your_zotero_data

    Export is the only way i can use,

    Because i want to export library to another account , backup can only used for one account

    if i backup data in one account, and restore to another account , Zotero sync would remove all these files in the new account, won't allow new account to sync all these files


    Export is the only way , that export from one account , and import into another account , so the second account can have the same library, BUT LOST ALL Images in Note, and there is never any notice warning for that

    After digging in Forum for posts,

    I am sad to find the Truth, Zotero Can Not Export Library from One Account to Another Account with notes keep images inside

    Never insert images in your Notes, This is the law

    I have read some posts which ask the same question several years ago, i am not the first who met this problem. And there is no way to solve it !

    An alternative to consider is creating a private group library with file storage, joining it from both accounts, and dragging items and notes via the group.

    Here is my solution

    Scenario: I want to transfer all my library to another account, Export & Import would lost all images in Note, So i have to use other way to keep all images in Note

    Solution :

    1. Logout Your Old Account

    2. crack zotero.sqlite file, remove all sync records, change the account to new account , reset sync version to 0,

    After Crack, You can Login Your New Account, Without the Ugly Warning that it would remove everything because you switch to another accouont

    SO, You Can Use Data from Old Account for Your New Account

    3. Login Your New Account , Replace online library to your local one

    4. Sync Data For Your New Account，after Sync, you get everything from your old account , Everything With No Loss

    Please note that we cannot offer support if you modify the database using external software. Additionally, you should always close Zotero and make a backup before attempting any modifications.

    I advise anyone reading this thread to check this article and use one of the methods described, or merge accounts using a group, as I’ve suggested above.
