    Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins? If so, can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through getting this error, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

  • @liyany: That's not from Zotero startup and doesn't show the error occurring. Can you 1) disable all plugins in Tools → Plugins and 2) use Help → Debug Output Logging → "Restart from Logging Enabled…" to provide a Debug ID for reproducing the error from Zotero startup?

  • That’s still not from Zotero startup, still isn’t with all plugins disabled, and still doesn’t show you reproducing that actual error you’re reporting above. If you’re having trouble understanding us, please ask someone to read what we’ve asked for and help you provide it, but as it is, we can’t help you with what you’ve provided.
  • I followed the steps you mentioned, except for the first time. All of my plugins have been disabled, and none are running now. After clicking on the troubleshooting mode to restart, I didn't get the error message anymore; perhaps the system had already fixed it for me. Thanks again for your response.
  • No, all the things I said in my last message about the last Debug ID you provided are true. But if you can't reproduce the problem in Troubleshooting Mode, you should restart in normal mode and see if the problem comes back. If it does, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.
