Zotero Plugin not working for Microsoft Word

Just downloaded the Zotero Plugin for Microsoft Word. It works great for Google Chrome, but when I use it on word it does not work. I get the following error when I try to add a citation. I followed the troubleshooting advice on the website to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

    The troubleshooting steps end with a request for specific information, including a Report ID, without which we can't help you. They also explain how to identify the part of the document that's causing the problem, unless the problem occurs in a new, empty document as well.
