Weird text rendering for built-in PDF reader
Hi devs, thanks for the newest update! It is visually very pleasing :)
I have unfortunately run into a strange rendering issue, although I'm not sure if this is a system-problem on my end.
Text with the letters "fi" and "fl" renders as boxes in the built-in PDF reader. If I annotate them with highlights or underlined annotations, they are parsed correctly. The system-default reader (Adobe Acrobat) as well as Firefox render the PDF correctly. Any clues as to what might be going on?
Thanks!

SaileeSakhalkarUpon some browsing of the forum, I think the issue is the same as https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/473700/#Comment_473700, with ligatures. I will try to troubleshoot it a bit more, but any suggestions will be much appreciated!

martynas_bCould you send the PDF file to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

SaileeSakhalkarAbsolutely! I've dropped you an email. Thank you for looking into it!

martynas_bSo far, I can't reproduce the issue. Which operating system are you using?

SaileeSakhalkarAh? Strange. I'm on Windows 10. I do have a laptop running Windows 11, but I haven't tested Zotero 7 on there.
