Zotero 7: Can't select text within highlights

    It's awesome to see how Zotero is helping people all around, and with the recent UI changes and the Draw support, it's much more beneficial to use it on a tablet to read papers.

    I came here to inform about one feature that was there in Zotero 6 but not in 7, which is that I was able to select texts within highlights (normal, box) by double-clicking and dragging. But I can no longer now select texts within highlights. This is helpful as I sometimes tend to copy or highlight certain texts within a box highlights.

    I use Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and haven't tested this in other OS.

    Hold down Alt to select text within a highlight in Zotero 7.

    Holding down Alt doesn't work for me on Linux, but the combination Alt+Super does.

    Just Alt works on Linux in general, but possible there's a problem with certain keyboard layouts.

    Ah, that makes sense. My window manager has Alt-click-drag mapped to move windows, which could be interfering.
