Upgrade StorageRequest for Updates to Organization Studies Referencing Style
Hi,
Thank you for adding the Organization Studies (OS) reference style to Zotero. It is really helpful. However, there are a few issues with the existing style. Fixing them would be very useful.
1. In the Zotero’s current version of reference list, the first letter of each word in the article title is capitalized. However, according to OS style, only the first letter of the title should be capitalized. If the title includes a subtitle or a section following a colon or dash, the first letter of the word after the break should also be capitalized.
- Example of an article with a single title: Brown, Andrew D., & Toyoki, Sammy (2013). Identity work and legitimacy. Organization Studies, 34, 875–896. (Note: Only first letter of the tittle is capitalized)
- Example of an article with a subtitle: Brown, Andrew D., & Humphreys, Michael (2006). Organizational identity and place: A discursive exploration of hegemony and resistance. Journal of Management Studies, 43, 231–257. (Note: The letter after colon is capitalized)
- Article tittles with noun -- Chowdhury, Rashedur (2017). Rana Plaza fieldwork and academic anxiety: Some reflections. Journal of Management Studies, 54, 1111–1117. (Note: Rana Plaza, name of a building).
2. For text citations of articles with three, four, or five authors, current version uses “et al.” after the first author's last name. Instead, OS uses the last names of all the authors for the first time and then the first author's last name followed by "et al." for subsequent citations.
Example: For the article -" Aversa, Paolo, Bianchi, Emanuele, Gaio, Loris, & Nucciarelli, Alberto. (2022). The Grand Tour: The Role of Catalyzing Places for Industry Emergence. Academy of Management Journal, 65(6), 2058–2091."
- The first text citation would be - (Aversa, Bianchi, Gaio, & Nucciarelli, 2022).
- Subsequent text citations would be - (Aversa et al., 2022).
- The reference list for this is correct in the Zotero's current style.
3. For papers with six or more authors, for text citations use the format - (Last name et al., year).
4. In the reference list for six or more authors, list the initials and surnames of the first six authors and shorten any remaining authors to “et al.”

Will these changes automatically reflect in the Zotero's OS reference style or do I need to do anything from my end ?
There is a backlog of 250 PRs currently in the style repository and it takes time to get them reviewed. But yeah, eventually.
The Org studies formating doesnt have a pullstop after the last author's name before the mention of the year. Please find the below example on current version in the Zotero and required version.

In brife, we need to remove the fullstop before (year).
