Zotero software crashing after installed

Hello!

I installed Zotero for Windows and after I close the window and re-open the program, it gives me this message:

Either I click "check for updates" or "quit", the program closes itself. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times but the issue persists. Any idea how to fix this issue? Thank You!

Can you reproduce this in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”)?

Troubleshooting Mode probably won't help. We've since determined that this is likely an intermittent error that a small number of people are seeing based on unlucky timing at startup (due to the specific speed of their computer/disk/etc.). We're looking into it, but for now, @Mar_Lu, your best bet is just to restart until it goes away, and then leave Zotero open.
