Zotero 7: Missing the list of notes in the Item pane from V.6 - am I overlooking it?

In V. 6, I could be in a document, switch the item pane to notes, and see a list of both notes associated with the document and other stand-alone notes.
I can't find the equivalent in the new Items pane. Is it gone, or am I just overlooking how to get to it?
If gone, please add returning it to the features list.

    Notes are one of the vertical sections in the new Items pane. When you click the Notes icon, notes for the current item are shown up top, and All notes is shown below.

    If that’s not what you’re seeing, where exactly are you looking and what do you see? Can you post a screenshot?

    The weird thing is, I know I *once* saw the list of "all" since upgrading. However, I cannot seem to find my way back to that view. I am thinking maybe I need to have a particular type of item selected? I have tried selecting different items (parent item, note, attachment), and clicking all the different icons available to the right of the items pane.
    I am attaching a screenshot of what shows after I click the Notes icon for an item.

    I figured it out! It's only when a PDF is being displayed in the center area, and I click the Notes icon, that what I was looking for appears (notes associated with the file at the top, list of all notes at the bottom.)
