V7 - Importing PDFs does not honour custom attachment format

Hi Zotero devs,

Well done in creating such an amazing and modern look in V7.

1. I have a custom filename format for PDF: say,

{{ citationKey suffix="_"}}{{ firstCreator suffix=" - " }}{{ year suffix=" - " }}{{ title truncate="100" }}
```

When I import a new citation file (bibtex) with their associated PDFs, the PDF files were renamed to the *default* filename rather than following the custom format.

At the moment, I am unable to find a way to rename in bulk through Zotera interface but have to select each PDF file under each reference and select "Rename based on parent metadata".

It would be great if the import can honour the custom filename format.

Now Zotero 7 is out, I am still having this issue where the imported PDF attachments did not follow the custom filename template set in Zotero Settings.

For a filename template like:

"{{ citationKey suffix="_"}}{{ firstCreator suffix=" - " }}{{ year suffix=" - " }}{{ title truncate="100" }}"

I am expecting the PDF filename to be converted to the following after the import:

But I get:

Without the citation key at the front.

Note that what you're showing is the attachment title, not the filename

Thanks @adamsmith. I am using 7.0.2. Unfortunately, when I right click of the attachment title (PDF file) and select "Show in Finder", the PDF filename matches the attachment title.

I can select the PDF in Zotero and select "Rename File from parent metadata", then the attachment title becomes "PDF" and the PDF filename is renamed to the desired format.
