Upgrade StorageSyncing basic question
Dear Forum,
I am seeking reassurance. I am not computer saavy. I had to reinstall windows. I have downloaded Zotero and now would like to sync my library.
How can I ensure that my files on my Zotero account are synced to my computer, rather than my blank computer library syncing to my Zotero account and erasing my library? Does Zotero recognize that the larger library determines the direction of the sync? Hope that makes sense.

dstillmanedited August 27, 2024You can safely sync. Setting up syncing on every new computer of course doesn't wipe out an existing library.
