citation bar not loading

Working on Zotero 7 on a mac and I have trouble with using the citation bar: once I open the zotero citation manager and click to add/edit citation the citation bar opens in zotero (not on the word background, see image below) and then if I type an author the bar looks like it is loading but nothing appears. I tried to re-install the word plugin via preferences > cite , I tried deleting and re-installing zotero several times, I tried deleting the .jason file in the zotero profile directory... nothing seems to be working.

My Debug ID is: D1489588229

Any help?

There isn't any error logged in your debug log. Did you look for an item that actually exists in your library?

Yes of course I look for items that exist in my library, and I tried several items...nothing works. I tried again, this is the Debug ID D413834438. Could you check again why the citation bar does not open in word, and why it takes forever to load a citation (and actually it only loads without success, even after 6 minutes)?

Sorry for the delay. Can you provide a Debug ID for Zotero startup through reproducing this, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

@maya.declich: Also, please check your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero settings. Does it pass?

The Debug ID is D735181012. See also the second screenshot of the problem (the citation bar keeps loading, and no citation option is added though I typed an item I know exists). I updated the macOS and also re-downloaded the MS365 package so everything is up to date.
