I chose to ”File Renaming“ and chose to "Automatically rename locally added files", but every time after adding a pdf paper, the name is still pdf, not renamed according to the renaming format below.
You are probably seeing the normal behaviour. "PDF" is the Attachment Title. The name of the file on the disk should be correctly changed according to the rules you have set in your settings' Filename Format. You can view the name of the file ("Filename") in the Item Pane after selecting the attachment. See: https://www.zotero.org/support/file_renaming#attachment_title_vs_filename
