As mentionned in that thread, there is a Zotero 7 branch. I have installed it following these instructions:
As a quick work around, you can just zip everything in the addon/ folder and name it zutilo.xpi. The make machinery is mainly used for converting the README files from markdown to html and including them in the xpi file, but for testing you can just ignore the README file.
This is working quite well for me, recovering some of the functionalities of Zutilo. But as mentioned by the developper, it is still some work in progress.
Recently my zotero automatically updated to 7. Since then no more zutilo which was essential for my workflow. I tried the method mentioned above which allowed me to recover some zutilo functions. But i noticed some troublesome pbs it creates. When the plugin is active, i cannot use the ctrl+C copy shortcut in the pdf viewer. Besides that, the "create your own shortcuts" part of zutilo doesn't work. Basically, what i want is to have shortcuts for: - copy text in the pdf viewer - copy/paste all fields of an item - add tag to an item (ideally when its attachment is opened in a tab) - copy/paste tags - copy/paste the type of document
