Quota error after adding PDFs to a group library

[Split from Storage]

I have this issue as well. I have been adding pdfs to a group library. The group owner is not getting this message, but I am. How do I determine whether the accounts are the same or different?
  • Both you and the owner of some of the groups you're in are at your storage quotas. You'd be getting the message for the group if you added files, because those files currently only exist on your computer and can't be uploaded.
  • Thanks. I know I am at the limit on my personal storage. I just bought more, but I am wondering why is will not purge?

  • When I logged in and checked my personal storage capacity there was a red "Purge Storage in My Library" button at the bottom of the page. I clicked it but nothing happen. Those files are in both the group library and my personal one and I don't need them in both.

  • It may have taken a couple minutes to update the storage usage reported, but your personal library is currently using no storage.

    Under "Current Usage" in your storage settings you should see
    My Library - 0 MB
