titles not in italics when generating reference list from notes

I have been struggling with a problem I incurred today when using the zotero-plug-in for Word. I use zotero for all notes (obviously) but then when I do 'add/edit bibliography', titles that have to be in italics (books for instance) are not italics. I tried reinstalling zotero and reinstalling the plug-in, but neither works. Any suggestions?

This is controlled by the citations style that you are using. Use Document Preferences in Zotero tab in Word to change it.

Thanks, but I tried that, it doesn't make a difference. But it gets weirder. I found that if I delete one specific note (a reference to a book by Edmund Burke), all works fine. So I tried deleting that both in the document and in zotero, then re-enter the reference in zotero and re-insert the note. The same problem rose up again. Then I tried adding a random extra note in word, and the problem disappeared again. So for now it seems to be solved, But this is really weird.

A bug in Word! I should have known (https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/italics_in_word_bibliographies). The work-around works, but it still hope the bug gets solved soon.
