Absolutely brilliant! I hope your plugin will be added to the plugin list in the web library! Most appreciated is the reading of PDF books in dark mode now possible thanks to "Night For Zotero." Thank you again for a brilliant way of having solved this issue of "dark mode" Thank you! | Spaciba Bolshoi! | Danke sehr! | Merci beaucoup!
Does it work for Zotero 7? Trying to install from .xpi file, and getting the error that "The add-on "C:\Users\....night.xpi" could not be installed. It may be incompatible with this version of Zotero." Edit: nevermind, I see there's a different version in 'alpha'.
As points @poettli, this plugin has too many bugs. Ideally, a simple implementation should be possible in Zotero of the night functionality, as there exists doq (https://github.com/shivaprsd/doq), an add-on for pdf.js, which does not seem to be very comlplex (and doqment, https://github.com/shivaprsd/doqment).
The annoying issue where the wrong info appeared in the right pane for the current opened PDF is apparently gone with the Zotero 7 beta. This was the single issue that caused me to stop using this otherwise-nice plugin. https://github.com/tefkah/zotero-night/issues/88#issuecomment-1706444166
Given the native dark mode in Z7 55, this plugin is no longer needed going forward; however, it is a huge blessing for Z6 and the dev deserves many thanks!
Hi, mac user here. Would someone tell me step by step how to install the dark mode plugin? Please assume no knowledge whatsoever of coding or how computers work, thanks.
No more blinding PDFs !
THANK YOU
Edit: nevermind, I see there's a different version in 'alpha'.
But this depends on the will of the zotero developers @dstillman, @martynas_b, @AbeJellinek and so on
