Missing xpi file to install zotero plugin for libreoffice

Hi there,

Since the new Zotero update, I am strugging to install the Zotero plugin for LibreOffice. I installed Zotero LibreOffice Integration.oxt in LibreOffice, but the xpi file in the Zotero plugin manager is missing. I reinstalled Zotero several times and searched for the Zotero LibreOffice Integration. xpi file in the Zotero programme files as the .oxt, but I cannot find it (may I can downlad it for Zotero 7?). Every time I click on LibreOffice Zotero ribbon citation, Zotero disappears.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    There's nothing to install in Zotero, and nothing appears in Tools → Plugins for this in Zotero 7. (We haven't yet updated the troubleshooting page for Zotero 7. Is that what you were referencing?)

    Meaning what, exactly? That Zotero crashes? What OS is this?

    Hi dstillman,

    This is a Debian 12, and Zotero was installed via Flatpak, the problem was that the latest Zotero update did not enable Zotero LibreOffice Integration as noted below.

    I installed and reinstalled Zotero via flatpack, and it was always the same; every time I tried to insert a citation Zotero crashed.

    I fixed this problem by uninstalling Zotero from Flatpack and reinstalling it from the guidance offered on the below link.

    Yes, we have nothing to do the with Flatpak, and it currently crashes when trying to use word processor integration.
