Linux installation has old icon

The icons under ~/Zotero-7.0.1_linux-x86_64/Zotero_linux-x86_64/icons are still the old ones, if you compare it to https://www.zotero.org/support/brand#icon

    No they're not? The tarball has three different sizes of the new icon plus a symbolic SVG icon.

    Isn't it so that the most recent icon has more rounded corners?

    No, that's just the Mac version of the icon, which we consider the canonical version. The Windows/Linux one has less-rounded corners to fit in better with platform conventions (such as they are).

    The old icon was totally different:

    Oh, good to know, because I thought that the icon with the more rounded corners is the most recent one and is valid for all platforms, as it was shown in the official release notes:
