Problems or Bugs in Zotero 7

I have installed the latest version of Zotero 7, but there was an issue with the program not opening. I then downgraded to Zotero 6, where everything ran smoothly without additional problems.

In my view, there might be ongoing problems in Zotero 7, which require further investigation and solving.

    Can you provide a Report ID after reproducing this?

    My report ID is 348719094.

    I have followed all the steps mentioned on the site, but this problem still occurs. I also reinstalled both Microsoft Word and Zotero, whereas when downgrading to Zotero 6, there was no issue regarding running the programme.

    First you should go to your Word Startup folder (shown above), delete Zotero.dotm, and restart Word to make sure that the plugin is completely gone from Word. Then reinstall the plugin.

    If you're still getting an error in a new document after that, it's probably this:

    I have tried reinstalling the plugin, and both applications are not running by the administrator, but the problem remains unchanged.

    This is the current error code:

    [JavaScript Error: "An unhandled exception occured. [getDocument:y:\zotero\word-for-windows-integration\build\zoterowinwordintegration\document.cpp]"]

    [additional errors removed — D.S.]

    The mentioned error code has been solved, but Zotero cannot be run with the same popup occured.

    You don't need to paste the error output here — that's the point of the Report ID.
