I am receiving the error ""Zotero experienced an error updating your document." while I am trying to insert intext citation.

    To start, you're running a version of Zotero from last September. You should install the latest version from the download page and figure out why you haven't received automatic updates in almost a year.

    After that, can you insert a citation into a new, empty document? If so, see Troubleshooting Errors in Word Processor Documents for your existing document.

    Thank you. But I am already using 6.0.27 downloaded from download page.

    The official download page https://www.zotero.org/download/ distributes version 6.0.35, 6.0.36, or 6.0.37 depending on the desired platform. Where are you getting 6.0.27?
