Upgrade StorageRight-side panel doesn't seem to update when switching tabs in reader view

As described in the title, I've noticed that, in the reader view, the right-side panel doesn't seem to update along with the document being viewed. I've included a screenshot of a dummy example to illustrate what I'm referring to. For reference, the open document is a software manual, but the side panel is showing information for a prior document.
Based on my cursory testing, the side panel _does_ eventually show the relevant info, but only after I switch to another tab/open document and then return to the original.
It also seems that I only need to go through that process once for each tab. After that, switching between tabs updates the side panel as expected--as though it needs to cache it first or something?
Has anybody else experienced anything like this?

I logged in again just now to provide an update on my experimenting: the problem doesn't seem to occur in the Z7 beta. I'll assume, based on your reply, that's because plugins are disabled by default in the beta version...

On a side note, I will take this opportunity to thank you (and everyone else involved) for your work. Zotero has been a gamechanger for me and my workflow and, from my (albeit) limited use of the Z7 beta thus far, you are doing a great service to we plebes. So... my kudos.
