IOS restrictions,must use HTTPS to connect a non-local WebDAV server

question above.But I can use WebDAV at my PC.I dont know whether 123pan can do this.

    You're connecting via HTTPS, but it looks like your WebDAV server is redirecting download requests to HTTP, which it absolutely shouldn't be doing. This is exactly the kind of thing that the iOS restrictions are meant to protect against.

    You should find a different provider or use Zotero Storage.
  • But some other iOS apps like ES File Explorer(https://apps.apple.com/au/app/es-file-explorer/id1441621965) can get the WebDAV from 123pan correctly, is that because it using anything special that Zotero did not use?
  • Some apps request an exemption from Apple to allow them to make non-HTTPS connections to remote servers. We don't, and this example shows exactly why.

    this is not ture... we can always connect via non https before...

    @roadtodream: I don't know what you mean by that. I've explained exactly what's happening here.

    iOS apps can make non-HTTPS connections to local servers. Non-HTTPS connections to remote servers require an exemption from Apple, and we don't request one, because there's no real reason to be using an insecure remote WebDAV server these days. In this case, the protections stopped an insecure connection that absolutely shouldn't have been made.
