I have similar issue. Trying to cite in Google Doc, getting a pop up window which says updating the document, but it never finishes "üpdating" it

Restart Zotero and your browser and try again, and make sure that the citation dialog isn't just appearing behind your other windows.

If you're still having trouble, restart Zotero again and provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector for reproducing the problem.
