UNABLE TO RELINK CITATIONS IN ZOTERO

I HAD THE PERFECT DOCUMENT, ALL OF A SUDDEN ALL CITATIONS APPEAR IN RED, AND ZOTERO SAYS SOME CITATIONS ARE UNLINKED. WHEN I TRY TO RELINK THEM, THE PROGRAM DOES NOT WORK. IT WONT EVEN LET ME ADD A NEW CITATION

    But what do you mean by "it won't even let me add a new citation"? What exactly happens?

    I have exactly the same problem and I did exactly the same, unloaded my zotero version, downloaded a new one, installed it, upgraded to add more space. And still, the references in my document are in red, the program keeps saying they are not linked, it asks me to relink but it does not work, and I can't even add new ones because the program does not start. And this has been happening for a whole week. I am desesperated!
    @maitiah: And now you're posting to completely unrelated threads, without actually responding to us here. This thread is where all responses on this issue need to go.

    If you'd like help, you'll need to read the documentation linked above and explain if there's anything you still don't understand.

    Hi, citations in my document appeared unlinked with a notice to try and "relink" them. I try but the program shows no response. After trying several times, I have started introducing new ones and deleting old ones. But the program does not work, it seems unable to add new citations, I try refreshing: it does not work. I have tried to unlink all citations and start all over again, but the program does not even unlink citations. This has been happening for more than a week, I have tried making a copy, to unlink citations. I have upgraded my version to have more memory, nothing works. I cannot find an answer in the forum. My discussions are not even posted...Can you help me please!
    @maitiah: You keep creating new threads for this issue. Please stop doing that and respond to us here if you want our help.
