How do I add numbers to the items in a report???

I am trying to figure out how to insert numbers into a generated report. This way, each item in the report would be numbered, e.g., 74 articles would then each be numbered: 1, 2, 3, etc. Any ideas???

    There is no easy way to do this.

    I think what Trevor means by "no easy way" is: No way that doesn't involve changing Zotero code.
    In 2.0, the javascript file that creates zotero reports it handily title report.js and is in the
    /content/zotero/xpcom/ folder of the zotero.jar - you can probably change that file to number items in reports.

    I actually tried getting my bibliography enumerated by updating it, and then applying a "numbered list" format to it.
    I haven't tested what happens once you update the bibliography though.

    getting a numbered bibliography is easy: just use a numbered citation style such as nature (or adjust an existing one to include citation-number in the beginning).
    What isn't supported are numbered reports.
