An error occurred while saving with ScienceDirect. Try to save with Embedded Metadata instead.

This error occurred a few days ago when I was saving a paper information in Google Chrome:"An error occurred while saving with ScienceDirect. Try to save with Embedded Metadata instead." After a while, zotero can load the snapshot, But the author information is lost when saving with ScienceDirect. This problem occurs in all papers on the sciencedirect platform. (win11,64bit)
At the time, when I used the Edge browser, there was no problem.
But now with the Edge browser also encountered the above problems.
When I use a computer with Win10, these problems do not occur.

  • Same here. With Zotero 6 and 7 beta. In all browsers. Error only on ScienceDirect. I wonder if Elsevier does this intentionally to push Mendeley usage. What can be done??? Only way top bypass is using Web of Science or Pubmed...
Metadata are lacking authors and probably other info also
