iOS Debug Log: D1247148826
An error message appears whenever I save a file to my Zotero app on iOS iPad. This is a recent issue, started about 2 weeks ago. I used to be able to save to my Zotero app files from the web or my PC with no issues.
What does the error message say?
whenever I have the pdf file open and press the share button to Zotero. Zotero app opens perfectly and I get to select the collection, later as I press save a message pop ups.
Or
In Zotero when I try to open a PDF file which I have previously uploaded through my PC, a pop message appears
But I'm not sure what you mean when in the Zotero app you try to open a PDF file, then a popup appears saying "unknown error" too? If that's the case can you start logging before opening the file, try opening it and send the debug id when it fails?

Regarding the "attached file coud not be found", that attachment was added on your PC and synced? Can you access that PDF from your web library? Are you syncing using Zotero Storage or WebDAV?
When I set up Zotero, I created a folder on my OneDrive that stores all the documents from Zotero and so supposedly I was able to sync the files between my ipad and PC app.
- I tried by saving PDF file from the web browser using Share button
- I tried by saving the article with PDF file in PC Zotero - this only syncs the metada, but not the PDF file
- I tried by dropping PDF file into Zotero - still not accessible to the iOS
What's confusing to me is those error messages you're getting. You should be seeing error messages which would tell you what's going on based on the issues you're reporting.
Can you please do these things for me:
1. Start debug logging, try to save PDF from web browser with the share button and send me debug id and screenshot of that error.
2. Start debug logging before opening some faulty file, try opening it and send the debug id and screenshot of that error.

To solve your storage issues you can either buy more Zotero Storage or if you already use WebDAV you can start using that with Zotero too.
