Zotero update requires a whole reboot of the computer

Can this be really right that Zotero update requires a whole reboot of the computer? It won't open even if clicking 'no' and opening again.

Manually installed the it from the latest file in zotero.org bet builds, as the Zotero's own internal update got stuck with trying to connect to server or smth similar.

In some situations, a couple files in the old installation directory remain in use and can't be deleted. We haven't figured out exactly what causes it to occur, but it generally shouldn't be necessary.
