The Zotero connector is malfunctioning

It can't scrape multiple references at once, and when scraping a single reference, the date of the journal doesn't show up in the Zotero interface. Also, reinstalling the connector in Chrome doesn't fix the issue.

    We always need example URLs for problems with saving.

    I am experiencing the same issue as the original poster. I have confirmed that the same error and lag occur even when not using the Zotero Connector.

    Did you post in the right thread? The original poster doesn't report a 'lag' and they report an error specifically _when_ using the connector. If all you're seeing is the same error _message_ that's not necessarily relevant.

    No example URL needed, the error also occurs with no open tabs at all, a profile that was just reset, and no other extension installed

    Browser: Google Chrome Version 126.0.6478.57 (Official Build) (64-bit)
    Zotero Connector version: 5.0.128
