Android beta - weird case of new additions ending up in a different group library

Hi, I've been testing the Android app and liking it a lot so far.
Today I hit a very weird phenomenon - I've checked over and over and thought I had better flag it.
I added two titles to a new group library (id 5557552) using the barcode scan.
They appear in that group on the Android app and only in that group.

I have synched the Android app and the two items are now visible in a different group library (id 6932) both in my desktop client and in the web library for that group. And the new group library is empty in both of those views.

I can supply screenshots of the items in the various places if that helps.

    Yes, could you share screenshots of the item-details pane on Android, including the Date Added/Modified values? You can post here or email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread.

    Hmm, well that doesn't look good. The Date Added values definitely match up with the items in the other library.

    It looks like you (or a plugin) since modified these items from the desktop app on another device. Do they also now appear in the other library on Android?

    No sign of them in the other library on Android

    And that's even if you sort by Date Added descending?

    Ah, hang on, they are now in the other library (with the cite key from better bibtex which must have been the modification from the desktop. They weren't yesterday before I synced the desktop.

    Right, OK, so at least that part makes sense.

    As for how they ended up getting uploaded to the wrong library…we'll look into that. Thanks for letting us know.

    OK, good news and bad news. The good news is that we've just pushed a fix for this in beta 76, so it shouldn't happen again. The bad news is that it was actually worse than what you describe: it was uploading the items to all libraries, though in your case for some reason it stopped after the first 10 or so. Thanks very much for catching this, and sorry for the trouble!

    Cheers! I was actually going to come back to say I found those references in my main library too.
    Excellent if it is now sorted, shall remove the offenders and re-test in due time.

    I've just updated to beta 76 and can confirm that a new addition via barcode scan in the android app to the initially problematic group (id 5557552) no longer gets added to other groups. Yay!
    Residual problem: that group now has three items in the Android app, but no amount of synching will make them appear in the web library or my desktop client. I'm the owner and only member of the group. Shall I start a new thread for that or is it still part of the initial problem?

    It says it's syncing the group but something is not working...
