Source Usage Count in a Single Document

Is there a way to see how often a single Zotero-linked source is used in Word?

For context: we have multiple authors working on a single document and some have added duplicate sources to the Zotero group. We want to make whichever one has been used the most the "master" source. Is there an easy way within Zotero or the Word document to determine this?
  • That's perhaps not the right way to do it?

I think you should merge duplicate records, and the "master" should be the one with the best (most accurate, most complete) metadata. The merged record will then be used automatically by all group members.
  • Definitely do what aborel suggests to solve this particular problem, but FWIW, the ref extractor tool does allow you to store cite counts within a document, see
