Question about 'Ibid'
I am using Chicago Manual Style. I like when 'Ibid' Is used in referencing but this must have been updated for this style. Is there any way to get 'Ibid' back in preferences?

damnationWe have Chicago with ibid. available: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=chicago

amalia.louissonOh okay thanks. Do you know if there is a style that is like APA but in footnotes? I don't like in-text citations but just found out that references are included in the word count. Thanks!

adamsmithhttps://raw.githubusercontent.com/bwiernik/zotero-tools/master/apa-note.csl but no ibid there (you'd rarely see this in author-year styles in notes because you're basically saving one word)

amalia.louissonI have decided to use the APA notes style. I'm updating my documents but then noticed that it is alphabetising them within each footnote. Which is a problem because often my first entered reference relates to a quote. So changing the order muddles up the quotation to reference. Is there a way to stop the alphabetisation? Thanks!

adamsmithYes, see the bullet point here: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_usage#citations_with_multiple_cited_items

amalia.louissonWhat if I have already referenced the whole PhD already? And am just 'refreshing' it. Aka I want it just to update rather than doing that individually. Thanks again

amalia.louissonAny news on my previous comment? Thanks!
