Downloading article from JSTOR not working?

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I have the plug-in installed. I have V7 of the desktop installed.

I see "Download" buttons on the JSTOR page, and they operate fine manually

but when I click the "Save to Zotero" button, it creates an item in my Library, but doesnt download and attach the PDF file itself

    Have you disabled PDF saving from the General pane of the Zotero preferences?

    If not, can you provide a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector reloading the page and trying to save?

    Oh, this is Safari. Gated PDFs won't always work in Safari for technical reasons:

    OK, i have moved over to Chrome (124.0.6367.119), and the JSTOR connector still doesn't download multi-part PDFs.

    This is using Chrome. Does not download segmented PDFs from JSTOR

    I'm pretty sure that's by design -- that's be a hefty download and I'm not even sure it'd be allowed by JSTOR's ToC. You get PDFs of journal articles and, I believe, individual chapters.
