How to import and merge one column of data from a spreadsheet.
I have a spreadsheet of over a hundred sources as rows, wherein each column corresponds to author, date, URL, title, publication, and abstract (all of which are columns in Zotero).
I imported these into Zotero, but I forgot to include the abstract column. And I forgot how I imported these.
When I search for how to do it, I only find responses saying it cannot be done (which can’t be true exactly, as I did it somehow).
I would think I could reimport them and merge them. Or I could reimport them and delete the previous import. But whether I try to save the spreadsheet as XLSX, CSV, TXT, or XML, Zotero rejects it.
How might I reimport this spreadsheet? Or how might I better merge its last column into my existing library?
Thank you.
UPDATE:
I have now exported our existing Zotero library into BIB format, and I used that as a model for how to format my spreadsheet data for import into Zotero. But it would be helpful to see documentation of the expected format. Is that available anywhere? Thanks.

Zotero will also recognize and try to import Biblatex, which is defined precisely in the Biblatex manual
