Error when trying to add new citation

I have a document that shows an error of "error updating your document". I kept removing half of the references until I removed all the content of the document but I still get the error, however, I don't get the same error if I try to add a citation to a new document.

I have attached the error screenshot.

    Is the document saved on OneDrive?

    Can you provide a Report ID after triggering this?

    I am getting the same issue. Off of onedrive - it works. put the file one onedrive stops working. Everything had been fine just a day ago.

    Adding to thread... This looks like a Windows issue.
    Just opened same document (from onedrive) on my Mac. Zotero worked.

    Yes, there's been a step about OneDrive on the troubleshooting page linked from that dialog for years. See there for the workaround.
