How can I move files from one group to another?

I have changed roles in my org and need to move my files from my old group to a new one. Is this possible and if so, does it keep all links and other data the same or do they change?

    You can drag collections and items across libraries, but that will reset Date Added/Modified, and it will currently break links to existing citations in word processor documents. We hope to have a solution to help with the latter in the not-too-distant future.
