format of saved pages -- saving pages as single files
I've noticed that Zotero saves pages as files within a folder -- a separate file for every jpeg, gif, etc. -- so that once a large number of pages have been saved, the sheer numbers of files may affect speed of backups if not other operations. (I'm not a technical person, just a paranoid end user.) I understand that there is a format for saving a web page as a single file (.mht) but I haven't found any discussion of it, or of the option of saving a web page as a pdf indexed by Zotero, on this forum. I see that there is a Mozilla Archive Format but I haven't found anything in these forums about present or future abililty to use it in Zotero. (Again, apologies if I've overlooked it.) Would welcome ideas from developers and other users about this. My primary Web saving software has been SurfSaver, which saves each page as a document WITHIN a database that Windows treats as a single file.
