Importing BibTeX from clipboard fails on Zotero 7

Whenever I try to import BibTeX from the clipboard 'No importable data could be read from the clipboard'. If I paste the very same data in a .bib file, it gets imported without a hitch. I tried with many very simple BibTeX files, to no avail.

This is clean install of Zotero 7 (7.0.0-beta.70+d654daae2). I nevertheless try reseting the translators (per other threads).

Thanks in advance for any insight.

I reverted to 7.0.0-beta.68+c31a40c74 and importing from the clipboard works now fine.

(This is on MacOS 14.4.1).

Hi @cyclope, I am looking to revert back to beta 68 too, would you be able to share the installation file somehow? BBT worked fine in beta 68, but not 70.

dropping in to thank cyclope's link. the plugin BBT is broken in b70 and above and while waiting for the fix, I'll stick to b68 for the time being.

update 20240414: BBT plugin works again. Now on b74.
