Citations not working "Zotero experienced an error updating your document"

MIcrosoft Word for Windows Win 11. Zotero 6.
Troubleshooting:
- restarted both Zotero & Word
- Word Tracking Changes are disabled
- doesn't work from any Word including a blank one
- closed OneDrive
