Upgrade StorageEndnotes INDesign
I have a 230 page MS, in 22 chapters, on Microsoft Word. My word doc has endnotes beginning at 1 in each chapter, and at the end of the doc, a Notes section chapter by chapter, notes begin at 1 in each. This was formatted using the References ribbon.
My UK publisher's book designer used INDesign (Adobe) and the endnote formatting crashes.
I am told that MS word cannot do what I am asking it to do.
True or False? Help?

adamsmithEven if you generate the endnotes with Zotero, this has nothing to do with Zotero (which doesn't handle endnote placement or numbering) so this would really seem like a question for, depending on which problem you're trying to solve, a Word or InDesign forum.
