    I am experiencing this issue as well. And I find this problem only exists for new document. If the document has been inserted some citations before, zotero still work effectively. So, it is very strange. Hoping there is a solution for this.

    This isn't a general bug, and is most likely related to something on your system. Submit a Report ID. What OS and what version of Word are you using? Does it work if you save the file somewhere on your disk before attempting to insert citations?
