Zotero connector not working on IEEE explore

When I enabled the Zotero connector extension to search on IEEE explore, HTTP error 418 will return as the response. I have tried Edge and chrome browser. Only successful to search on IEEE explore without Zotero connector

I have removed the Connector and installed it again and can search with the Connector enabled without using the proxy to connect to IEEE Xplore

Zotero Connector will redirect you via your university proxy if it has detected it in the past. So the 418 error you have been seeing could have been related to issues with your proxy. You can temporarily disable the proxy redirection in the Zotero Connector preferences. Reinstalling the Zotero Connector will have wiped your stored proxy preferences, which is probably why it works now.
