zotero for mac flash back when use zotero connector

my zotero for mac would flash back when i use zotero connector to download papers from google scholar. This happens no matter I use chrome or safari. How to solve this problem, thank you so much!

    There's a known bug in the Mac version of Zotero 6 where plugins that open a progress window can trigger a crash when external monitors are used. That is fixed in the Zotero 7 beta, so you can disable plugins for now or switch to that.
